JeanAn important area that I would like to address is when one discovers that they have a soul connection with the individual who they have inquired about. What one does with this information, the understanding that you come to regarding this knowledge, is critical to your personal and spiritual growth and direction. Yet how often one will come to a misunderstanding of what exactly this means to oneself and to your life, and the experience becomes one which is wrought with misdirection and confusion due to the very knowledge which is meant to assist one to gain clarity into the spiritual aspects of what is occurring in your life.
The words soul connection, twin flame are nowadays buzz words tossed around to try to attach a spiritual meaning to a romantic relationship, if it has the spiritual aspect to it, it has to be divine love, yeah? The love of all time, the one that we are to search for and ride off into the sunset with and we will be eternally happy. So why then do they run? Could it be that perhaps there is more to this soul connection thing that we are not being told about in the media, the dating sites, and wherever else these labels are touted? What happened to this divine lover of ours, our soul mate, connection, twin, where the heck are they? did they go back to the dating sites looking for the next divine love or what? Whatcha think, is this the real deal, are you buying it? Or is there something more to it than this?
This is what happens when the spiritual meaning of what the term soul connection is to convey clashes with the pop spirituality meaning, the marketing of, misuse of a label which takes one off in a differing direction from what the real purpose of the words are for, to describe a process. Soul connection equals a process, not just a person. It is this process which one will find themselves struggling with, where the challenge is for one. One will experience this if it is a soul connection in the true spiritual sense of the words. Compatibility, love and a great relationship does not necessarily equal a soul connection in the way that many who are reading this have come to know it, yeah? Confusion, challenges, struggle along with pain are more of the order of the day, and night. Love that is profound, sure, but it may be hard to ride off into the sunset with someone who is no longer in ones physical sight and presence, yeah?
It is imperative that when one has been given this knowledge, has come to an understanding of the karmic lessons that the connection has been brought into ones life to highlight this so that one can learn, knows about the imbalance of energies, the unresolved karma, the energetic link that exists between the two partners, that one is careful as to not try to intertwine the idealized romanticized version of what a soul connection is to be and try to superimpose if you will the one onto the other. Sure there is a romantic component involved in this, it starts off this way for many of us doesn’t it. But there is so much more to this, and this is where so much confusion comes into play when one knows this yet tries to stay geared toward the romantic aspect alone. One is being moved to get moving, and it is important that we see this and begin to work through the process.
Yet what happens quite often is that the words soul connection, runner, instead of being words to describe a process, and to come to an understanding of this, will instead become an excuse. Take someone who runs for example, the ” runner” one may understand that they run based often times on fear, instead of this being part of the soul connection process or experience, becomes more of the ” ok, they are afraid have issues to work through and they will come back, so I will just wait till they do.” the ” stayer” becomes the “waiter” The understanding of what is occurring, the explanation of the process becomes a way to excuse it all away and one remains caught in the pain, in the process and not moving through and beyond it. The pain that one is feeling can be seen as stemming from the run caused by the soul connection partner, and not from the issues that the run has allowed to surface in oneself. The spiritual becomes lost on the understanding when we misconstrue the two.
Allow the term soul connection to move one forward, to gain insight and come to an understanding of the spiritual process at work in ones life and the life of the partner, not throw one into the endless waiting game and off the track of what one is to learn from this experience. Having gained the enlightenment that working through ones life lessons, resolution of karma brings, one will be able to experience unconditional love, your relationships will improve because you have done your work, you have improved in many ways, there is no more pain and with growth comes change, which includes a new you and all the possibilities that this brings.
